Thank goodness for glass windows. As we seem to have SAD syndrome on a pandemic scale these days in Northern Europe, I wonder what the mood was in the days before glass, when, along with all other the sufferings that were to be endured, natural light in a home was limited.
As it is, I have been sewing more than gardening, and had the delights of visitors – a stoat outside
and a wren inside
while I stitched away
