Fiddle farting

I’ve been fiddle farting about – sometimes I just can’t get down to anything and it’s usually because Iam putting something off.  I like to think I am as a cat – toying with my prey before I pounce, rather than as a cowardy custard hiding;  but I am given to self-delusion.

Here are the fiddle-farts

This is not a true fiddle-fart, but actually a tapestry I started two years ago, which actually only took a few days to finish once I got stuck in.  It’s a made-up-by-me design using leftover Colinette Giotto and will become a cushion cover when it grows up.
I was putting off starting some tapestry cushion covers, two, each 31″ x 11″, wool on 10 mesh, that are being made to complete a project started by my late MIL for her church.  There were practical reasons for delay, emotional reasons for delay, and atheistic reasons for disinclination!  But I have now started – so all fiddle farting has ceased!!
